CPSC Staff to Engage with California State Officials on Upholstered Furniture Flammability Issues

On Thursday, March 29, 2018, Andrew Lock, Consumer Protection Safety Commission Directorate for Laboratory Sciences, and other CPSC staff will call into the California Bureau of Electronics and Appliance Repair, Home Furnishings and Thermal Insulation (BEARHFTI) advisory council meeting to listen to the status of ongoing upholstered furniture flammability issues in the state of California, starting at 12:00 p.m. EST (9:00 a.m. PST).
