CPSC Staff Hosting August 8 Working Group Meeting to Discuss Upholstered Furniture Flammability Issues

Andrew Lock and other Consumer Product Safety Commission staff are hosting a working group meeting to discuss Upholstered Furniture Flammability issues. The meeting will have two sessions. One session will discuss (A) Information, Education, and Labeling topics; and the other session will discuss (B) new technologies and possible options to reduce fire hazards. The meeting will be held at the National Product Testing and Evaluation Center (NPTEC), 5 Research Pl., Rockville, MD; August 8, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (Session A) and 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm (Session B).
