Army Integrated Head Protection System Contract Awarded

Ceradyne Inc., Irvine, California, was awarded a $10,797,045 modification (P00018) to contract W91CRB-14-C-0005 for procurement of 6,518 integrated head protection systems which is a subcomponent of the Soldier Protection System. Work will be performed in Irvine, California, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 1, 2017. Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $10,797,045 were obligated at the time of the award. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
