Fashion For All Design Competition 

Textile Accessories for people with disabilities
Entries due February 9, 2021 
Create or transform an accessory (bags, belts, jewelry, shoes, etc.) that reimagines fashion and function for people with disabilities. All accessories MUST be textile based!

1st Place Prize: Runway of Dreams Foundation will award a minimum of US$5,000 scholarship to the first place winner. The award will be given at Runway of Dreams Annual Fashion Revolution Gala and Fashion Show in NYC in September 2021

C2C Design Competition 

Fashion Evolution
Entries due April 1, 2021 

This year’s theme celebrates AATCC’s 100th year anniversary. From the 1920s, when AATCC was founded, to the present day, choose a decade from the last 100 years and reinvent the fashions for the 2020 decade focusing on one or more of the following:

  • fit/sizing for various body types
  • sustainable fashion
  • personal protection
  • new textile materials/technology

First Place Prize: 
  • US $1,000 from AATCC
  • Pantone Cotton Passport and COY mug
  • US$300 Spoonflower Gift Certificate and Spoonflower DIY Book Bundle
  • US$200 Jacquard Inkjet Fabric Systems gift certificate to obtain prepared for dyeing (PFD) fabric

  • Winners will also receive one year free AATCC Student Membership

Faculty Note

AATCC announces this anticipating that design, art, and merchandising faculty may incorporate it as a project for their fall or spring curriculum. Faculty members are encouraged to assist students with the coordination of teams and resources, and to act as liaisons with AATCC for this competition.
