CPSC Announces Upholstered Furniture Fire Safety Technology Meeting

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission ("CPSC") is inviting stakeholders and other interested persons to attend a free, one-day public meeting, titled, "Upholstered Furniture Fire Safety Technology Meeting." This meeting will focus on technologies and anticipated progress on future fire barrier technologies and other options to reduce the fire hazard posed by residential upholstered furniture. The meeting will be held April 25, 2013, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the CPSC National Product Testing and Evaluation Center, 5 Research Place, Rockville, Maryland 20850.
