Textile Organizations Relaunch Online Presence

On the same day, Thursday, April 16th, the National Council of Textile Organization ("NCTO") and the American Flock Association ("AFA") announced newly designed websites. NCTO's website can be found at www.ncto.org. As a modern and highly innovative industry that is a vital contributor to the U.S. economy, NCTO we felt their website should exhibit these same characteristics as we seek to position our industry in a positive and appealing fashion. According the the NCTO announcement:
"Our new website, aside from being more aesthetically pleasing, is hopefully easier to read and navigate, thus enabling members and stakeholders to find what they need quickly. Just as importantly, the new site strives to make our key messages and policy positions evident and clear. In addition, we are now using a responsive design, which means that you’ll see essentially the same design optimized for your smart phone, tablet and desktop.

One of our main goals was to help the media, the U.S. government, and those making U.S. sourcing decisions gain an accurate picture of our membership's capabilities, our policy positioning, and the overall value our industry adds to the broad based U.S. economy, local communities, and the American work force.

The fresh face for AFA may be seen at www.flocking.org. It features a fresher, lighter look and will highlight:

  • Member and industry happening.

  • A blog.

  • Profiles of members companies.
