Market Research conducted by the Government indicates Danner is the only known domestic manufacturer, willing and capable of producing a specialized 75mm ski boot that meets the Marine Corps' technical and operational requirements. No other domestic source currently offers a product that meets the Marine Corps' stringent Berry Amendment compliance and technical specifications.
