Polyester French Terry Loop Fleece Sought for DR-CAFTA Program

Agathon Associates has received an inquiry regarding 100% polyester 19 gauge tubular knit French terry loop fleece for use in production in the DR-CAFTA region. Note that the requested fabric must conform to the DR-CAFTA rules of origin. Yarn size: 150 Denier x multifilament - Spun (Yarn sizes may vary by +/-8%. Also, yarn size relates to the size of the yarn prior to knitting).

Dimensional stability (washing) 7x7 or better (AATCC 135/150)
Burst strength >= 35 psi. (ASTM D 3786)
Color fastness (3 cycles) >= 3 (AATCC 135/150)
Color fastness to crocking dry crocking >=3.0; wet crocking >= 2.0 (AATCC 8)
Color fastness to water: shade grade change >=4.0; Muti-Fiber staining grade: acetate, cotton, nylon, polyester, acrylic, wool: >= 3.5 (AATCC 107)

Quantity Required: Approximately 625,000 lbs during months of February to June.
