Customs Rules on Classification of Flocked Open-Work Warp Knit Fabric
In a letter dated September 4, 2014, U.S. Customs and Border Protection ruled (NY N245406) that a flocked polyester/nylon open-work warp knit fabric, from Mexico, characterized by a pattern of dots, ranging in size from approximately ¼ to ¾ inches, printed onto the knit fabric using flock fibers, is classified at 6005.34.0010, HTSUS, with a rate of duty of 10%.
