On Tuesday, September 17, through Wednesday, September 18, 2019, Consumer Product Safety Commission staff and staff of the European Commission will conduct free product safety training for buyers and sourcing professionals purchasing textiles/apparel and electronics manufactured in China. The training event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on September 17-18 at the Dong Fang Hotel Guangzhou in China. Target groups for this training are resident-in-China buyers and sourcing professionals who purchase consumer products for major importers located in the United States and Europe. Many will be direct employees of U.S. or European companies. Other potential attendees will be from specialized firms that handle purchasing for large global retailers, as well as from small and medium sized trading companies active in the consumer product export business. English-Chinese interpretation will be provided.
